In Matthew 28, Jesus made our mission extremely clear. He commanded us to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you."
Out of our desire to obey the Great Commission we've developed a wonderful discipleship program for Victory Christian Center called THE ROAD. Our DNA here at Victory is to Love God Completely, Love People Unconditionally and to Love Life Enthusiastically. This discipleship process will help you understand what that means and enable you to be a stronger disciple of Jesus.
Just as Jesus discipled the 12 apostles, there are 12 lessons in THE ROAD to help disciple you. This three level process is designed to help navigate you through the three cornerstones of what we believe. Each avenue you take in this process will teach and equip you with foundational truths and challenge you to fulfill the purpose and destiny for which you were created.
We invite you to join us on THE ROAD to Loving God Completely, Loving People Unconditionally and Loving Life Enthusiastically! THE ROAD will provide the road map, the Holy Spirit is our built in GPS, and with your faith and commitment we will see great sights as we head toward our destination of being all we can be for God! Let's enjoy the journey together!
Q: What is The ROAD?
A: The ROAD is a new 15 class discipleship ministry written by Pastor Thomas himself to disciple the body of Christ.
Q: Is Home Field Advantage the same as The ROAD?
A: No.
Q: If I have taken Home Field Advantage, do I still need to attend The ROAD?
A: Yes.
Q: Is The ROAD required for Membership?
A: Yes, Lessons 1, 2, & 3, Loving God, along with "A Time With The Thomas'" are required for membership.
Q: When are The ROAD classes offered?
A: Sundays at 10:05am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm, all in Classroom #3.
Q: Are classes offered online at Victory’s website?
A: No, not at this time.
Q: Who is supposed to take The ROAD?
A: EVERYONE, from the Pastors to the newest believer!
The Road – Loving God – Level 1, Lessons 1-3
The Road is Victory’s new Discipleship class for ALL believers, helping us understand what it means to Love God Completely, Love People Unconditionally and Love Life Enthusiastically. Lessons 1, 2, & 3 cover topics like: Does God have a Plan, How do I love God Completely and the Importance of a strong Foundation. Pastor Thomas is requesting all of us to get “On the Road”, although Classes 1, 2 and 3 are also required for membership. Classes are Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 10:10am every week. The Road – Loving People – Level 2, Lessons 4-8
The Road – Loving People is the next step in moving on further down “The Road” to “Loving People Unconditionally”. Join us Sunday mornings at 10:10am or Wednesday nights beginning at 7:00pm in Worship Center Classroom #3. Lessons 4-8 cover topics like: Does God Really Forgive me, Do I NEED to forgive others, Does Christ Really Live inside of ME, Water Baptism and Communion. Level 3 of The ROAD is all about Loving Life Enthusiastically through servant ministry and study. It is a series of classes beginning with Lesson 9 - Healthy Servant Leadership and includes reading, study guides and homework. More lessons will be available in the following months and completing Level 3 - Loving Life will most likely take about a year.

You need to complete Level 1 - Loving God, Lessons 1-3, Level 2 - Loving People, Lessons 4-8, along with turning in your Level 3 application. Applications are available at The ROAD Information Desk.
After your application is turned in, we will personally contact you with class dates, times, and location. You must attend class and turn in homework in order to receive credit.
